Long ride yesterday

I've been on vacation all week and it's been raining or wet everyday except Friday. I got a new front tire, a chain, and new front brake pads Thursday before last and I haven't had a chance to get out and scrub the new tire yet! I decided to just cruise around town for an hour but got a few raindrops and decided to head south where there were less clouds. When I got over the hill into the Valley it was clear. Next thing I know I'm at the beach! The canyon roads around Malibu still have gravel and sand from the rains in some corners so I had to take it easy.
130 miles round trip...Aaaah, I needed that.
Helped some tourist from France figure out how to pump his own gas. The only French I speak I learned from Pepe le Pew cartoons so it was mostly charades, but he figured it out.
It's not supposed to rain today and I'm going to try to get out again. Maybe this time with the camera.

Good for you Big O! I'm sure it was a great 130 miles...

Rumor has it that I'll have temps in the 70's tomorrow...planning a ride if possible!

yeah I probably "could" ride but am not going to cuz I don't wanna sandblast my bike with all the sand still on the road.
