I was just on that track on Wednesday the 3rd.  Thats Summit Main in West Virginia. Inbetween turn 3 and 4. Looks like the RC came in a little hot.

He did well to not hit the rider or the bike...the bike was trying to get him though

Holy crap, I've never seen anything like that before. I keep watching it but still can't tell why the bike fell so quickly. I see the smoke on the rear tire tire, but it's like the gyroscopic force just completely collapsed.

Has anyone else seen this before or know why it happened?

Passed on the outside then locked the rear brake to avoid the scooter in front of him.

He locked the front, pause it you can see smoke coming from the right side of the rear tire. Thats the only way to go down that fast going fairly straight. Must have stabbed them to not go over the bars. Came in with from the pass then was probably surprised when the guy in front started braking for the corner harder than he expected. Thought the cam bike was going hit the sliding bike.
