No, I'm trying to go 7.0 et. Best I've done is 7.29, which isn't too bad for my third time at the track, but I want to improve each time I go.

Last night we all had fun, him rode down just so he could get a flat tire, jmaz came just to hang out (his bike should be ready next week) Ludicrous Speed and me. I managed to run 6.899 @ 111.91, 1.818 60'. That's my best time so far, as long as I keep improving, I'll be happy.

Just my two cents but, on a bike without a wheelie bar you should launch at as high an rpm as will allow you to get to full throttle quickley without a wheelie. If you can do it at 4 stay there if not reduce your rpm. Ideally you want to get the front tire to just float an inch or two as you are leaving as this will transfer weight to the rear tire and get you better grip on the track.

him ran over a nail. he plugged it, but still had to ride 1hr+ home, so the trip pretty much sucked.

Glad you made it down, though.

Hoot and I ended up running off in the finals tonight.  Too bad only four bikes showed up to race...........

Best I got was a 6.60 @ 116

Hoot went a 6.09 @ 122 or 124, I can't remember.

Congrats to J for his first "6"

You get that clutch taken care of and you will be amazed. I never thought it could be that bad. You can't slip that thing at all! I thought it was just you, but that thing grabbed on me and bogged like a mofo.......

Should be ordering a new clutch tomorrow, I'll have to call Hoot to install it. Phillips installed a new chain and tire Saturday, forgot to take my 16t front with me

I'll go back during the week and get it put on and the chain re-riveted. We'll see what's what on Friday.

You shouldn't need to cut the chain to replace the front. It will just move the wheel back a little.

Did you get the clutch mod or a new stock clutch?

get the mod ring from mpsracing it's only like 50 bucks it dropped my 60s by 2 tenths the stock setup would grab and bog if the revs were to low and would wheelie if they were to high it comes with heavy duty springs and makes it really smooth when you come out on it
