You got it, Lou. I've seen some of the roads you have in NM, and it would be no slouchy ride. I'd like to head down toward Los Alamos, as well...there are some awesome sweepers and sweeping views. It's only 12 hours from SD to Santa Fe/Rio Rancho, so it shouldn't be too big a deal.

Here's a pic of the approaching sunset, today, from my patio. You can see the cruise ship leaving San Diego Bay for the open ocean.

I wouldn't trade places with them.

O.k...one more...by now, the cruise ship has hit the 'high seas'. On the left, you can see one of the Coronado Islands (property of Mexico, btw). The tower you see between them is the air control tower at NAS North Island.

Sweet.
