The HID kit price will include shipping, handling and a site donation agreed to be paid by Mike . I'm still interested, but you'll have to list me as a "possible" for now...price will be the major factor in whether this will be a go for me or not. Things are really tight, money wise, for us right now and I'm having some unexpected work-related expenses pop up now too.
I'll keep an eye out for KS's post on pricing info and let you guys know for sure whether I'm in or out.

Just curious. I'm wanting the 5000K for the true white light. However, I'm wondering why the price difference on the different temps. Also, I've tried reading up on the HIDs but I'm wondering if the 6,000K has any advantage over the 5000K since they are both so close to the white light temperature. Bear in mind, I'm after a better performance light and don't care about having a "cool color".
Oops, I should add. Will this be coming with install instructions or do we just do the best we can? I know I saw somewhere (can't remember where) some info about proper ways to have the light turned in the housing and how to stash the ballast and so forth. Are we expecting 2,000 hours or so out of the "bulb"?

HMan, you can contact Mike for all your technical question . Iceman , and others have posted how to properly install a HID light and I am sure Mike Iceman and others can provide the same. I will have KS work somthing out with Ice or someone that has a tutorial already written up . I'm pretty sure on page one of this thread there is a HID tutorial install some had kindly posted. This should give you a very good ideal of how to install the kit.

I'm leaning towards Hman on this....I want the best bulb for getting things lit up. Is the only difference between the bulbs the tinting or do you get different light levels??

1.If your interested in a HID set-up for your bike and would like to get involved with this group buy you must post here or PM me.... No exceptions!
2. This is a limited time group buy the more that get set-up the deeper the discount. Current prices as of 01-14-05
5000k $160
6000k $168
8000k $176
10000k $184
This price includes shipping and a one year warranty.
3. When Mike ships the group buy, it will be submitted under one Hayabusa.org order. Mike will drop ship each order individually to all who are paid in full. You don't have to worry about funds or paying until we place the order. Then when were ready to place the final order; I'll call Mike and give him a list of all who are interested in buying. Then I'll PM/E-Mail out the password to those of you who posted here or PM'd me. I will provide the final cost on the website, You will have 48 hours to make all payment arrangements....
