Can anyone tell me how they fixed their kill switch housing when the plastic pin that holds it in place broke off?

I don't know how anyone else has done it. but couldnt you just drill a hole where the old one was and run a small screw in it. then cut the head off and file the threads that are still sticking out of the housing. Seams like it would work to me with nothing out of pocket and should be done in less than an hour.
