Kickstand search

I know this is a Busa forum but since you guys are so helpful,  

, I figured I could come to you. My girl has an '05 750 Katana which she wants to get lowered by 2 inches. I can get the lowering links and do it myself but I'm having trouble finding a kickstand that would compesate for the height change. Online, I found some adjustable kickstands but they were for Busas and for 1000 Katanas (I never even knew those existed). Can anyone here

Buy your girl a Busa and get it lowered and install an adjustable kickstand, problem solved !!

Funny you say that, I too have a 750 Katana and thinking of lowering it too. Not that far just a inche. The busa is lower and mine is very close in weight too, so the change to the busa is not unrealistic, it's the power that gets people.

I lowered my wife's YZF600R and needed a shorter sidestand. I bought an extra one off of Ebay for $15, then took the original sidestand to my local welding shop who cut off 1" then welded the foot back on for $10.

I stll have an original sidestand to put it back to stock height. An adjustable sidestand is usually chrome, so you will pay at least $100 for it. My way is a lot cheaper, and without a blinging chrome sidestand that will force you to buy more chrome to complement it.
