Just two questions

What grade of gas do you use?

I would like for the bars to be a little higher and back a little.. What are my options?

87 is recommeded. I've just recently started with the 87.....I haven't noticed anything abnormal.

Thanks to everyone I have put both 89 and 90 I guess next I'll try 87... Need to look at bars, I hear there are some more comfortable than the stock bars...

87 on gas, and Helibars for a 1 1/2" higher 3/4" more rear ward angle. Works for me just GREAT

87 Octaine. Genmar 1 1/4" risers.

Genmar and Helibars here and Love it. Just don't forgert to extend the brake and clutch lines if you do both.

Where's the best place to get longer cables?... How much longer do they need to be?

Long ago and far away, running air cooled bikes.... They all seemed to run better (less knock, more power, etc...) on higher octane. I guess it is just left over habit.

Where on LI? I lived there for about 20 years.. Just moved back to Va. 3 years ago... Not many places to ride a BUSA there anymore? or any motorcycle for that matter...
