Just got my '05 Busa today!!

Very nice.

so how do you like it so far?

Thanks everybody!!

@Ironbrad: I totally glad that you were able to pick one up to (FINALLY!!

).

@bLUE Streak: Love it so far but I'm in SAFE MODE right now and breaking her in smoothly (under 5K rpm) until I close in on my 600 Mile.

@Chronos: I will replace ASAP

@Hunt NXS: Got it at Malcolm Smith Motorsports in Riverside CA for 12,000. Could have gotten it at my buddy's dealership for 11,8 but they wouldn't have gotten them in till Jan. I couldn't wait any longer.

Again, I will post more pics in the light and some with me in the saddle. I'm already drawing tons of attention, mostly good but others with malice and with the intention to race, which I won't ever do unless I'm on the track. It def. feels so much more different than my Gixxer 750 (obviously) but getting adjusted to it didn't take too long at all. It's really rider friendly and handles like a dream. I look forward to meeting many of you as I plan to roadtrip over the summer. I'm even thinkin' about the Busa meet and greet.

Thank you all for the kind comments. Talk to you all soon.

Just wait until you find a nice long, straight, wide open highway with good pavement. Pin the throttle. Enjoy the ride

Oh and hang on tight...

congrats on the 2005, break that thing hard!!!!!
Change the errl soon and then at the 600 mile mark, after that your call (preferably every 1000 miles) (my2 cents)
THe beast seems to run faster and faster after 600 miles.......cruise 40 mph in 2 second and twist the gas all the way and tell me what ya feel.

@ Painless4U: Thanx for the welcome. I can't wait to try that. Sounds insane!!

@ ChronosWs: I'll def. be hangin' on

@Phatjoe, Ted and JWC: Thanx guys!

Now have 50 miles. couldn't ride last night because of 40-50 MPH wind gusts (well rode during the day and the crosswinds were kinda gnarly). I'm heading out in a few minutes. I will take more pics soon under the sun and with me on it too!!

Good choice on color. The red/black color sucks!

Have fun with headlight blinker switch and hazard lights.

Them damn reflectors are still on. I'll be gettin' rid of them soon. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Havin' too much fun riding the new bird.

Thanks Arey. These pics don't do BigBird much justice but I can't believe how much sweeter it looks in real life. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one with a Busa in my town b/c I haven't seen ANY. I'm gettin' tons of attention, props, questions, etc. Even the kids want me to wheelie but I'll wait till it's all broken in. All my friends on Gixxers and CBR's are totally jealous. Sucks for them. Again, I look forward to meeting many of you guys someday out on the road. Oh , here are some extra pics my Dad took of me. Bad sunlight (he's still gettin' used to his new Canon Powershot A75):
