January 1st 2009 first ride of the year

The morning started out cold so Ronnie and I waited till around 12 before we went for our New Years day ride. We just stayed close to home today, no gap trip, but had a great time. We rode across the top of Missionary Ridge and looked down on Chattanooga Tennessee, it was a beautiful clear day. We went into downtown to have some pizza at the Mellow Mushroom, but they were closed. So, we went to TGI Fridays and had fried green beans and grilled shrimp.

After we ate we went to Lookout Mountain. The road to the top was great.

We stopped on the way down to take some pics of Rock City, you know, See Rock City, on all the old barns, Between the bikes in the first pic is the falls. In the next one is a regular shot then the zoomed shot. the last ones are of the gilrs. It was a nice day so we started the year off right, on another great ride. Hope ya enjoyed the pics.
