Is this used stator useable?

I encountered charging issues during my last ride in October. I was getting enough juice to run the bike, but not to charge the battery, so I rode home and parked it to deal with later. I figured the most likely culprit was going to be a bad stator and I picked up a used OEM one that’s been sitting on my bench for the past couple months. I know, bad idea and I’ll get to that in a minute. Well, I finally got around to doing some testing and my stator is fine and the fix was the regulator/rectifier.

So I grabbed the used stator I’d bought and was taking some pictures to re-list on eBay when I noticed the small nick and some cracking where I’m pointing in this pic. Does that mean this stator is garbage? I don’t want to list it if just going to cause someone problems. Thanks

It should be fine . Many stators are bare copper wire . Looks like some of the insulation or dip applied has come off . Most likely due to thin coat or rough handling
