This young woman was a Beauty Queen and was attending College and doing so many good things with her life. She is/was an inspiration to young people who are a little different or have a handicap that would usually hold them back. Nothing slowed her down.
Look at what she has done in just 18 years. And to lose her life in this way is really tragic.
Kinda sad to me.

A deaf person would be able to sense a train coming. If she weren't being distracted by someone else talking (signing) to her, it would have been very apparent that a train was approaching. It's very possible it was a suicide by train.
