Is a gen 1 and gen 2 fuel line interchangeable?

I need to buy a fuel line with clips for a gen 1 but the one's for gen 2 bikes are much cheaper. Does anyone know if they are interchangable? I saw some links to other solutions but they're all dead.

Doing it like that would cost more than an oem replacement. I'm trying to do this with the least cost.

Read the thread. Theres a amazon link for the clips for $5

Unless your hose is cut. Usually broken clips are the problem tho.

Most parts stores have those fittings and a short piece of efi fuel line in a “fuel line repair kit” If u want to attempt to just make one.

I did...the clip from the Amazon link is for the fuel rail and bottom of the fuel sending unit (I have these). The ebay link is dead. Nobody clarified what dorman part number either. I don't have the fuel hose at all, it didn't come with the bike when I bought it.

That’s crazy. You would have to take one or the other to a parts store and match em up, pop the fuel rail off
