Vacuum Boost Sensor GEN 1 – Interchangeable with GEN 2 ?

Hello everyone,

I could use a little advice concerning replacing the vacuum boost sensor from a GEN 1 with a GEN 2

I know this is a rather odd question. However, the stem which connects the vacuum line to the sensor has broken off

Cost of the sensor on eBay is $75 for the GEN 1 VS $15 for a GEN 2

GEN1 SENSOR, BOOST
15620-02F00

Thanks in advance, for the helpful advice and suggestions

Guess.. if they does fit the same and you can block them rightly.. the connector jack looks like the very same

I have been on the supplier side of automotive engineering and have seen this type thing happen all over manufactured parts. Remove a tab her, a grommet there, shorten the line by .05", and on and on in order to reduce the part cost. Although, without any further facts, if it were ME...I would near f'n guarantee it is the same sensor and I WOULD buy the cheaper 1. AND I would risk that small % chance i am wrong for $15
