Will gen 1 or gen 2 seat interchange

No it will not. I purchased a gen 1 gel seat in the hopes it would fit a Gen 2. The gen 1 seat would not clear the battery on the gen 2.

I have ran my gen1 race cut seat on a gen2 with no probs. But it did have the shorter battery

My buddy with an 08 used my stock 05 seat for a few months. I had to peel off the little foam padding on the bottom of the seat so it would fit over the battery. It fit but didn't look great.

I wonder if your gen1 Corbin would fit his gen2, and how good it would look?
Any chance of trying that?
