Interchangable rear end

I knew the title would get your attention

I have a bit of a mechanical and somewhat silly question. I have a 2002 busa and I really love the new rear end (fender and light assembly) on the 2008 busa. Is there any slight chance that I could purchase a rear end assembly for a 2008 and luck out to have it fit my 2002?

Are there any 3rd party options? Basically I hate the ole stick out tail lights.

Ive seen it done, Saw one just the other day as a matter of fact. Does not bolt right up, Not sure what all is intailed but I bet someone on here does.

Bolt on rear subframe and go or just SEARCH..
