I have an '04 if I try to start my bike immediately after turning the key the HID will turn off and not come back on. If I give it 10-15 seconds it will dim the light but doesn't turn it off and back on.

I just got the HID system from XENON, the McCulloch high and low beam. I want to do it right and need guidance. What kind of relay and where can I get it?

I use the added on/off switch with no problems, I have a small White LED that lets me know if my lights are not under power when I ride, (I say lights as in HID, Tail, plate, and Switchbacks)... the dark side is nice to have in case u need to hide from .....
