Idle problem

My idle is at 3000 rpms and I am not quite sure what it could be, I am thinking that it might be the idle accelerator cord got stuck or something, am I on the right track?

dat suks but check the screw when you get the tank up run her to running temp and play with the screw till its in the 1100 range

Check your air temp sensor before you adjust anything. Make sure you do not have it plugged with water. Your idle should not have changed that much unless you changed your elevation and temp to extremes.

true dat thanks for the insight NE

cant help ya there dude pop the tank and see for yourself
Yeah I was about to do that and low and behold there is no allen wrench for the tank screws in the trusty suzuki tool kit, have to go buy a set real quick, could have easily done without the crappy pliers they provide for a correct size allen wrench.

keep a 4mm & 5mm in the Kit. You cold be right and the high idle cable could have been kinked. More likely then the screw coming loose on the idle.

yea if the high idle lever is stuck or on it would idle at 3000rpms like NE mentioned
