well thanks for the input.. so far I have been working on the stock black wheels, with the polish lip. since it looks like i won't be in the saddle anytime soon until the wifey recovers. i have also a spray gun to try to match all the other chrome pieces to the weels with some black/clear. I will be taken the slip ons out soon and going full so I will just get some carbon fibre can for it.

I like the chrome, but like someone else said...what does it match? If you're going chrome you need more chrome, ie peg brackets frame sliders, grips, mirrors..etc, etc. This won't take away from the bike but it will high light the chrome thru-out the bike...my opinion of course.
