I've been telling him how awesome the bike is for the past (almost) year, and today he finally threw a leg over the beast (he wasn't able to take it for a spin).

He liked it, and was wondering what the performance is relative to his machine (older Kawi ZX-11). I've ridden his machine and it is fast, but nothing compared to the mighty Busa.

I'm selling the Busa hard. Hopefully we'll see his callsign on here soon (I'm betting it will be Syrinx).

Anyway, just wanted to tell the board that I'm doing my best to get the word out...

I went with a buddy to pick his '75 Yamaha TX 500 today and we started talking about bikes. Imagine that. We had talked before and he told me about riding a 'Busa that belonged to a friend in New Jersey, liking it but thinking he couldn't handle the power. He then decided that a Hardley was his calling, so that his wife could ride with him. I have continued to push the 'Busa with him and he says he is seriously debating what to get. He said he was thinking of a Softtail Classic (~$18K) and I told him he could buy 2 'Busas for that price when you include the chroming he would definitely do! He's leaning toward joing our club. We'll have to see if we can get him to lean all the way!

He wound up getting the same color I have (silver/grey - which is only moderately faster than the black/grey).

The wierd thing is he bought the same helmet model that I have, different color though.

I've told him that this is THE place to come for assistance, tips, etc.
