I need help

I just went outside to start up my bike. It started the first time and then it shut off. The engine oil light wont turn off and the bike wont do anything. The lights turn on and it make the jet starting sound. I just had my oil changed at the dealership yesterday. I have a 03 hayabusa. Please assist.

Does it have oil in it?

Is it in gear? check the kickstand switch.

No, I had it in neutral. Where is the kickstand switch?

Right by the kickstand, when ya put the kickstand up you will see it push in a small plunger looking thing, thats it.

Is the pump pumping? lok in the window and see if the level goes down. also did you have the clutch cover off? if you or the dealer did, check to see if the pressure sensor wire got pinched. It runs along the cover. If it grounds out the light will come on.

What do you mean by "jet starting sound"? Is the engine turning over or do you mean you hear the whirr of the fuel pump?

steelership f'd up your ride so they could get a few more dollars outta ya.

the only thing ive had the steelership do to my bike was change the rear tire out (took rear rim off the bike myself

) ....and they even f'd that up...wtf!!! they gave me back my rim with the new tire on it but the rim was scratched to hell and back....just gave it back to me that way, like i'd never notice or something. i had to make those a**holes buy me a new rim.

I had a flat on this week, I went to the shop for a new tires...and it was a hell for little tire swaping proceedure (was back tire) but the guys did a good job, and didn't leave any scratch...

Was any work recently done to the bike? Have you checked the fuses to see if a fuse is blown?
