Glad to hear your okay. Going through the pain of the repair sharpens your senses for the next time...from experience. I have a stock windscreen I'll sell ya, $10 and you pay shipping.

thanks everyone of the suggestions....i did buy the woodcraft stator cover and it should be here monday, hopefully there is no engine damage considering it stalled out when i went flying over the bars... yeah i've got full insurance, but i have a thousand dollar deductible ???so it wouldn't be worth my time in calling the claim since all together everything i'ved priced cost a little over 800 bucks....yall have any suggestions on a double bouble, i had the hot bodies but it just seemed same as the stock but tinted...definately frame sliders is a must....

Im in the exact same boat as you, we even have the same color scheme of bikes. I bought used plastics and it totaled up around 150 for right side and upper fairing. they are a little scratched but im going to get the bike painted for cheaper than it is for OEM fairings. As for a windshield I like Zerogravity double bubble... Good luck man!

lol i put her in neutral, gave her a good push and rolled her up the ramps and tied her down....:beerchug::beerchug:

Amazing how much strength you have after bouncing up from a crash. I lifted mine like it was a 125 dirt bike or something. Didn't even think about until I was nearly home and I realized what I had done.

When you said a slow get off I was surprised at the damage. You are lucky you are a smart guy who puts on the equipment. Good luck and get her back up and running soon.

BTW: I didn't call my wife. The cop gave me a ride home and made me ride in the back like a perp or something. When I got in the house she was upstairs so I said i had a little fall but everything was ok. Then I told her I was going out to the store and went to the Hospital. Turns out my shoulder was broken - that's how much I feared telling her!

talking about reviving an old thread lol that was over a year ago now. i learned to respect the busa after that and my riding style changed drastically after that here is a few of her now from a recent thread i just posted https://www.hayabusa.org/forum/gene...ent-little-ride-come-home-like-christmas.html

How about some current photos to see how she turned out?
