How to Winterize Your Busa

I know there are topics on this board about storing/parking or winterizing your bike. but either i am hallucinating, or i just can not find them to save my life today.

what are the recommended steps for storing your bike over the winter. im going to be putting it in a trailer that will be outside. is it recommended to take the bike off its tires ? please re-iterate gas, oil, battery, etc prep work that is recommended.

you cant ride those tires on the street at all, the studs get corroded big time. I had them last year... www.motorace.com sells them!

Why would I want to store my bike for the winter?

It's almost 80 degrees out right now....perfect winter riding if ya ask me!

well for those who have to dodge the cold, get a battery tender and store the bat. in a warm dry place. put the bike on a stand or rotate the bike weekly to avoid flat spots in the tires from sitting, and lastly, keep some fuel stabilizer in the tank to absorb the condensation from developing in the fuel. long winter just plain sucks bottom line!
