How much clearance is needed....

Just installed a muzzy system and the oil line on the clutch side needed to be bent ( was hitting header) and the other side has clearance, about 1/16 to 1/8" on both sides. is this ok? I can space out the bottom bracket to gain an extra 1/16 if its worth it.

you should be fine with that. I wouldn't have bent that oil line though......just use washers to space it out.

That or buy the flexible line Brock has for sale, $60 or so.....on his website.

Deffinately get it away from your exhaust. I didnt and it wore a hole in my oil line. I met some friends at Wheelers after a hard run back from the Dragon and when I put my stand down noticed oil spraying all over the place. Fortunatly, Wheeler hooked me up. Disassembled my shid and welded it then put it back together for 40 bucks....what a great guy.

there not touching now. i have about 1/8" clearance. its close. just worried about heat.
