How do i remove the nose fairing?

Before I attempt to do this for the first time, can you guys give me step by step instructions on how to remove the nose? I'm already going to have the side fairings off to get rid of the chance of scratching things. Any tricks I should know about?

for me....
[*]remove mirrors
[*]remove black pushpins located in the inner panels near the cluster (not sure if needed but I did it anyway)
[*]slide cowling from around the holes used to attach the mirrors (be easy but firm)
[*]grab upper and lower of the cowling and pull towards the front fender

Disconnect any electrical couplings/quick disconnects - also, you may need to loosen the bolts that hold the ram air tubes to the nose... If they are in the frame tight they can be a little difficult...

Exactly what I was just thinking! LOL.

Thanks for the help guys. The reason I'm asking this is because I want to install my HID kit, lower the front end a tiny bit more, and change the steering damper oil to a thicker oil.

Alright, you'll need a hacksaw and 2 hammers, no make that three hammers, BIG ones.................

What? Oh sorry, i thought we were talking about changing your oil.
