HOW DO I MATCH UP THE 2000 BLUE PAINT

i'm thinking of either painting the rims the same colour blue or chroming them. how do i find the same colour blue?

the code for the blue is
1LF
they will tell you if you need base or top coat

U'll be spending ur weekends polishing the rims if u chrome them while ur neighbour zooms past u getting a head start riding.
But if u have that patience and time ... go ahead ... it'll look better with the chassis chromed too however.

I would only need a small tube of the silver and blue for stone chips. I already have a few so I guess I need some. Is color rite the only route?

yes that I know of they have
pencil paint sticks - spray -and quarts

Dupont has a scanner that is accurate most of the time,you may still need to tint the color.Ido this stuff for a living and its not always easy to get it right.Color Rite is pretty good if you dont mind the price or time to ship it.Compared to the Copper that blue should be a snap.

I've got the 99 Copper. I took one of the side panels to a Auto Paint and Supply store they were able match the paint electronicly by passing a machine over the panel.

Can I take this blue code to a local body shop to color match the paint?? Or are those Colorites codes?
