My thighs get very hot if the bike has been out in the sun and I then drive in city traffic. Once I pulled into the nearest parking lot to hop off before I got cooked. The local Aprilia dealer said that's common with metal fuel tanks and that's why they use a composit. I was wondering if a leather or graphite tank cover helped. Going fast helps but sometimes the cages clog things up.

I always ride with pants also......just can't bare the thought of ripping skin from my chicken legs as I hit the pavement.

about the only concession that I can give to heat is that I will go with a short sleeved shirt some times. Rest of the time, pants, steel toed boots, gloves, full face helmet, and more time than I really need just for fun
