Just got back from riding tonight, I love the helmet.

It doesn't bother me that it will be hard to get replacement parts for it, I've never had to replace visors or anything on previous helmets and this one comes with 2 visors!

But buying them and selling on E-bay for profit, hmmmmm. That looks good too.

I can just see in the next week ebay will be flooded with Large and extra large helmets.

yeah more choices ! the anti fog treatment on the lense is that why they are expensive? in the review that was posted they couldnt get the lense to fog up. are the other big name helmets ,shields priced high too?

Last shield I bought was a chrome one for my SHOEI RF900 and it was about the same price as the Vemar chrome shield. The smoke shields are not usually that high, but if they don't fog up it might be worth it.

makes me feel better , i spoke to andrew also . sounded like he awnsered a cell at a club ? got my reciept and tracking number so all is good! should be here on the 17th my hjc shield retainer broke on the last ride to bear mountain sucked couldnt open it or close it without it popping off ! so when i got back went to pep boys to pick one up to hold me over till i found a deal . and this was screamin DEAL!!! i think its a good purchase, thanks for the first hand review charlesbusa .

I was going to drop by twisted-grip and try on the vsr face shields to make sure they fit the vsr carbon fiber helmet. They only have clears and have no idea when they'll be able to get smoked, irrdium or mirror.

Everyone I have talked to says the vsr visors will fit the vsr carbon fibers but I was hoping to try one on just to be sure...

recieved my VSR carbon fiber helmet !

took it out of the box and said !" thats never gonna fit !" well it did fits like it was custom made for my head ! light comfortable and tons of visability ! just a great helmet well worth the 300 $$ top quality ! the extra shield and extra cheek pads and liner are a bonus !

found a dealer on the island that carries vemar ,couldnt see the carbon fiber , he could special order it for me , but laughed when i told him i was gettin one for 300 with extra shield,cheekpads,and liner . he said yeah right !

not shur what my Shoei is but it cost $700 out the door "online" and its about 4 times lighter than my HJC. Does Shoei use carbon fiber on the high-end models??

I got mine too! I'll give a better review later, but it is extremely light! Like johnstein said, the added items are just a bonus. Took it for a quick spin and there is some wind noise, especially when turning side to side but not too bad. You don't really feel it but you do notice a difference when sideways.
