hmm so thats what the extra piece is for

so i had to remove the grab bar recently and as i was tightening the grab bar.. the left back screw if you are standing behind the bike. wouldnt completely tighten .. thought i was stripped.. then i found a "leftover" piece... that was the washer nut thingie.. that did it..

so if you grab bar screws keep turing.. check that..
incase anyone else has been throught that
