Hey San Diego guys and gals!

I got thru the ATC network that CRQ(Carlsbad airport) had an airplane crash.  Apparently a possible commuter jet ran off the end of the runway and burst into flames, but that's unconfirmed info as of yet.

We don't get San Diego channels and LA never reports on anything but LA.

I'm really interested in what type aircraft crashed(citation/lear/etc) and if anyone survived?

This is all I've been able to find.  They're reporting 4 killed but not confirmed   No word on what type of plane.

Very sad, but from my job's point of view, we were very interested in the type.

Weird, that citation 560 can land very short field. Something really went wrong...

Hey if one of you guys catch the tail number, PM me would you. I really hope it wasn't any of the pilots I know. A lot of our local jets pilot fly to CRQ often in addition to those ski airports...
