Hello! I'm James, and I recently acquired my dream bike.
It's a 1999 busa, with a roaring toys 8" over arm and a 240 wide tire, AND A F****** TURBO!
The turbo kit is an rcc stage 1 kit from back in 2012ish when they were using the comp turbos.
I have a dyno sheet from when the bike was tuned with the turbo on it and it made 247hp and 143tq.
The bike had/has a few issues that I've been working on fixing since I got it, those issues are...
Rear turn signals not working- FIXED
Rear brake not working- FIXED
Front brake and clutch fluid looked like chocolate milk- FIXED
Throttle so sticky it wouldn't return without some help- FIXED
and the worst issue of them all....
It smokes out of the exhaust some times (definitely burning oil)
Only under very certain circumstances though.
It will only smoke for a few seconds after coming down to idle after decel. Like when coming to a stop light.
Won't smoke under throttle, or revving in neutral, or at start up.
Only when coming to a stop at a red light, and only after it drops back down to idle (like when I pull the clutch in)
And the smoke only lasts for a few seconds, like 3-5 seconds.
I have no idea what's causing this, but I'm gunna assume it's the turbo.

Anyway...

Welcome, greenest. That's a fascinating busa. I hope you get that oil burn issue figured out soon. Sounds like it's not a huge problem when you're riding but one of those little things that has to be sorted out.

Man , that does looks wild with that 240 rear and beefy arm . Certainly looks like you got yourself a sweet ride , 250whp 143ftlb , going to spin that rear , you will be reporting smoke from that end soon too eh bro ! Hope you get that smoke issue identified and sorted . Welcome mate .

Thanks for warm welcome guys.
I do like pie.
It had 12 year old tired on it when I bought it, it spun the tire constantly, new rubber helped ALOT.
12k on the odo, but speedo/odo stopped working when swingarm was put on, I'll be fixing that soon.
Previous owner said there's about 15-16k on the bike now but who knows
