Anyone try the Heli bars yet? If so is the comfort level much better or not worth the time/money? Thanks!

I do not have the Heli bars on my Hayabusa. However I did have them on my '03 Superhawk and they made a HUGE difference in comfort. They are well worth the money.I will be getting them for my '08 as soon as I can scrape up an extra $200 or so.

you can move the bars up an inch with soupy`s kit for 15 bucks. not as much difference as the heli`s but alot cheaper.

I was mostly curious as to if the difference was very noticable but also if it took anything away from the sportiness of the Busa. I had a set of risers on my ST and it was definitely more comfy but at times the riding position felt almost like a cruiser, I know that won't be the case with the Busa though...

I have had them on my 08 for a couple of months now and love them. I did not like the look of the risers from Soupy's. Unless you know, you can not tell the Helibars are there until you sit on the bike. Well worth the money in my opinion.

I am sure everyones experience is a bit different but I needed a bit more of the "cruiser" posture.. a bit more upright was needed to get the strain off my back and wrists.. You will still maintain a pretty sport seating position (well I did at 6'2")

This shot is with helibars AND 3/4 inch genmar type risers..

Had mine on for about a year on the K8, also had them on my old K4, excelent quality and makes a big diference to your riding position/comfort plus easy to fit 40mins max.

It's a no brainer BUY EM

They are very much worth it!

My comfort mods on my 08 are Heli-bars, Buell pegs (Thanks GSX1300R-T), and the Suzuki touring screen. I have ridden for more than 10 hours a day on my Busa with this setup. I have also taken it the track that way. It looks and rides great.
