HELLO I'VE INSTALLED A IQSE1 HEALTECH QS FOR MY GEN 2 BUSA AND IT FEEL A BIT SLUGGISH AT HIGH RPMS HOW WE CAN GET RID OF THAT.
hello! again for the setting i've make the cut delay at 15ms then cut time 80ms and it works like butter needs some tune at high rpms but its good and fun to ride.If you're feeling the bike jerk as the next higher gear engages, a shorter kill time should eliminate that. A shorter kill time will also be more likely to miss the shift. When that happened on my Gen2 ZX-14, the transmission stuck in false Neutral between the gears or immediately shifted back down to the gear I had intended to shift out of. If your busa sticks in false Neutral, DO NOT try to shift back down and start over. There will probably be a serious discrepancy between engine rpm and wheel speed by the time you try to do this. There should be no problem if you pull the clutch lever in and shift up. What I was told is the ZX-14 has a big clunky transmission compared to the liter bikes. A foot quickshifter is probably not going to respond well to 60 or 65 milliseconds of kill time. My old ZX-14 seemed to work well with my HM quickshifter at 90 milliseconds. That wasn't good enough for me, the high rpm shifts were jerky and I can shift in 90 mls without a quikshifter even if I pull the clutch all the way to the grip. I hope your Gen2 busa works better with a quickshifter than my 14 did. It's a really fun mod but an air or electric shifter might be more appropriate for these large sport bikes. I really like the road race feel of a foot quickshifter. If I were going to race a hyper bike in LSR or drag racing as they were intended, I'm sure I'd go with an electric or air shifter and probably rig up automatic shifting too. ...but yes, I also find a foot quickshifter the most exciting of any of these options.

The cut delay is time the bike is still under power, correct? The cut delay is time the unit allows the shift linkage and other mechanical parts to move before cutting ignition to allow the transmission to shift?hello! again for the setting i've make the cut delay at 15ms then cut time 80ms and it works like butter needs some tune at high rpms but its good and fun to ride.
I'd like to do this someday.
My Translogic unit works great....it sure is addictive though....Me too, I plan to put one on my '03 Gsxr
I love the facfory one on the '18 Gsxr

I love the feeling I get when it gathers in so much speed......They are, I love it on the '18 Gsxr

I've never used a quick shifter before this bike...
