Hayabusa Porn Top Speed Run 190 MPH

I know the Bandit is a torquey, low revving bike, but that's the 2nd time I've heard you say the Busa likes to rev, and I laugh.
No disrespect, just when I think " likes to rev", I think 600, or 2-stroke.
The stock Busa's red line and throttle pull seem endless..but only for a second if you nail, but it still has torque low down.
Just different opinions probably from riding lots of different things.:beerchug:

I hear you, I started on 2 strokes and rode them for many years, the last one was a heavily modded RD400 Daytona, I had it, a Gen 2 Katana and a modded 750 Gixxer all at the same time. The RD was downright scary fast for a little bike-once you hit 6k rpm, it took off like a rocket but had no top end.

Compared to the low revving torque curve of the Bandit, the Busa is very much a sport bike and hits it's torque higher in the rev range.

I love both bikes for what they are. I miss my 2 strokes though.

That's what I mean by it likes to rev.

I raced them in 250B MX for a couple seasons when I was younger(late 90's before the change to 4-strokes)
I love them, but decided to walk away while I could still walk.
I never raced mine, I rode it with my lads....they thought I was nuts (I was of course).
I rode it in the snow, mud, sand and anywhere..I even rode it as a trail bike.
It had an FMF pipe, Boydsen reeds and 1 size over Wisco pistons...it was stupid.

Yep, I rode mine the same too, and loved it in the trails. I never understood why people don't like 2-strokes in the woods...stop driving like grandma and you won't have a problem, lol.

"stop driving like grandma" see that's funny right there.....

My problem was I needed to stop riding it like an arsepick....I'd jump it over logs and anything I could find. I'd cat-walk it up beside my boys on their bikes, slap their helmets and then take off in a cloud of smoke and dust...

Hahaha, reminds me of me, taunt them to try and get them to keep up...but it never worked.

Mine either...one was on a TTR250 and the other was on an XR350 so it was an impossibility anyway...
They moved away and I sold it for a song and dance.

Just as well too,
I almost hate it when my friends offer for me to ride a MX bike anymore, because I know I don't know how to act, and am just askin to bust my ass for the umpteenth time.

True, I guess we have traffic laws stuffed down our throats so much that the chance to "go nuts" off road is just too tempting...

I rode my Suzuki Quad Racer the same way sometimes and even though it had 4 wheels, it was still a 5 speed RM 250 motor...I think I had it on one wheel sometimes...

I have problems with most of those traffic laws as well. Since I've been riding years before I was supposed to be on the road anyway.
Fortunately, anymore, I stay out in the cut away from all that, where no one can complain about it.
Small world too, as I had a 250 quadracer(86)...and it had an RM250 engine on it when I got it!
500 quadracer has always been my dream 4wheeler(sat on a new one at the dealer when I was 10, wanted one ever since), but aging knees don't want to kick one of those anymore, and I like to be quiet where we get away with riding. Quiet and 500 quadracer(piped and tuned of course) don't really go in the same sentence, lol
So Raptor 700 it is!

Yes, interesting we had those as the Quad Racers were kind of rare. I bought mine new and regretted it after because it was not what I needed. I really needed a utility quad for hunting and working in the bush-two things the Quad Racer sucked at.

yeah, I never saw many of the straight seat 85/86, and not that many more of the T seats, up 87-92
The 500s were/are even more rare around here.
I think the majority of the new ones and the survivors made it out west, or around Michigan, anywhere with sand.
But still a blast to rip through the woods.

Mine was an '86 leftover bought in '87.

I rode a friend's 500 and it was....scary....I also had a Banshee and it was....scary too! The Banshee had DG pipes and you could hear it coming for miles.

Oh, love the Banshees and their sound too!
We used to pull sleds behind them in the winter.
Roost the guy in the sled, sling him wide at a maibox about 40mph...and watch them bail and tumble through the snow.
Good times, lol.

Quadzilla For Sale in the Nashville area. You know ya want it.....

Not bad, but I've seen better for about the same money, and it's over 8 hours one way.
I really have no need for one of them anymore either, unfortunately, just a pipe dream.
They are way too loud for most of the places I can ride(without trailering it somewhere).
And, we trail ride, rip some hills, drink a beer, bs, ride to the next place, repeat.
A great time, but alot of stops and starts, no fun kicking a high compression, tempormental monster like that, over and over.
So, as said, it'll be a 700 Raptor for me next, manual clutch 5speed w reverse, 4-stroke w FI and electric start.
Plus around 50hp and 80+mph. A well built 500 will still take it out in a drag race, but given the electric start, reverse, and quiet exhaust, it's a win.

Thanks for the temptation though, good lookinn out!
