starter? what else can be? why when is hot the engine just need some extra juice to turn over? even with batt charger connected and batt fully charged the engine won't turn over when hot.

how can you tell if you have a bad starter or your starter is going bad? i don' think my injectors are bad when the bike is running everything run fine, the bike just go, strong and smooth, no hesitation wont shut off or anything, she just go. today i was doing 160 quick hard to keep the front end on the road

also try from a set of jump laeds off a car dont start the car just use the battery

if the battery you used is not off a busa it may be too weak to start it up

Silly question, but does the bike turn over slower when it is hot, or is it just not catching?

Just a suggestion, but if it were me I would spend my next money and do the 24V starter mod. (search on here)
A new starter will be $300 plus, and you can do the 24V mod for the cost of a small second battery and mount (and relay if you go that route, or a wiring harness from Schnitz) or just some wire.
If the starter still has some life in it, that will make it work twice as good.
If the starter gives out then you have to get another (or have that one rebuilt) and you will have the 24V to apply to the new starter, which will make it work much easier.
JMO

BTW my 06 turns slower when it is hot. Seems to struggle a bit. If it gets to where you are I am going to do the 24V mod for sure.
