The old girl turned 50k yesterday when I was out for a ride.

50k miles, with nothing but routine maintenance, and replaced fork seals. The latter was due to me riding the Busa on roads where it had no business

Image below is one of those examples of roads not suited to a Hayabusa.

This bike has been absolutely bullet-proof. I grabbed it at the end of 2009 with 9k miles on it. Since then I have only replaced oil and tires. Runs perfectly still and turns over like the the day I got it. I am shooting for 200k from this bike, and the first 50k is a good indicator that will be no problem.

Still have stock chain and sprokets??

Nope, stock chain and sprockets were replaced at about 33.5k. I honestly think they had another 10k in them. Chain was still way in spec, and sprockets had very little wear. I just stop trusting a chain and sprockets after that long, so I changed them out.

I was starting to Bum out on my 18k on my 08, congrats:beerchug:

18k .. bah, that's barely broken in. Like I said, mine runs perfectly at 50k and has not had a single issue or failure. There's no reason it won't make 200k. So you have a lot of miles left in yours.
