This is about my gsxr-600...not the Busa...Sorry.

Okay...after my last track day at Blackhawk Farms on 9/4, I was talking with Mike and Kevin from MotoVid (the guys that do chase videos on the track). Mike stated that the trick sprocket ratio for BHF's is 15/48.

Due to the last owner's non-comprehension about torque specs. I had to replace all of the rear sprocket bolts/nuts due to the vise-grip requirement. I just got the new ones yesterday...that's why this is a bit late. I just got it all back together last night. This afternoon, I went out for a quick ride (illegal) near the neighborhood to test out the new 15/48 combo.

HOLY CRAP !!! This little 600 is now a dam wheelie machine...at least in first gear. This is with throttle only...not clutching it up. The developing subdivision doesn't have enough road to truely test 2nd and 3rd gear.

How wheelie prone are the 600's in 2nd and 3rd gear? Is this going to be a problem on the track as long as I'm smooth on the throttle exiting the turns?

EDIT: The old gearing was set up with 16F/45R.

The Hayabusa wasn't even this wheelie prone.

Thanks guys
