Gps updates

I just returned from Vacation in the USA and finding more and more that my gps needs updated.....

I was searching for a free site and how to install.....

When i first Registered at garmin site the device..... it seemed to down load something

but when you go to the updates for maps they want 120 us..

i found this site above.... but dont know how to install.

search on torrent sites (TPB). they have this type of stuff with instructions on how to install typically. Their instructions should apply to what you have dl'ed being that you can't really hack a GPS unit. Just a thought, give it a try. Good luck... might want to dl sandboxie when searching for free stuff on the intranets!

here it is. Sandboxie - Sandbox software for application isolation and secure Web browsing I have had great success with it. use google. "how to install .img on garmin gps" good luck looks like a real pain in the

I just checked the updates for my garmin and the lifetime update cost $120 but the one time update cost $70. If you plan on keeping your GPS for more than a couple of years and you use it a lot I think it is worth paying the $120 myself.
