GPS Question

Hi Everyone...I'm planning a lengthy road trip this summer with some friends. I wonder if anyone has knows of a GPS that lets loved ones back home log onto a web site to track your progress/location. I know they're out there, but I cant even think of a way to Google this question. So...thought I'd ask the experts. Maybe a Droid or iPhone app exists??? BTW, an expert is defined as "Ex"..."A Has Been", and "Spurt"..."A Drip Under Pressure"

I know AT&T has a family map program we use to make sure our son is where he says he is. it works on any AT&T phone. it only gives the location at that time not speed or anything like that. I know my wife tried to find me one time on a trip and I was out of service so it wouldn't locate me. that could be a draw back but that was a couple of years ago and they might have fixed that by now.
