Got my first 8 sec slip!

Rode my Buddy's 08 Busa and ran 8.88 at 159. It's a stock motor and was spraying about 23 to 25 hp as the bottle pressure was 700 lbs and it only makes 38 hp on the dyno when the pressure is at 1000 lbs. went 9.09 on motor first before spraying. Bike has Brock's pipe, air shifter, piper cross air filter, sitting at 63 3/4 inch wheelbase. and light weigh battery. tuned thru the ecu with just a generic map we got from boost by smith! With good bottle pressure a mid 8.70 would have been there. it ran 5.77 to the 1/8th at 129 mph. I'm no lite weight either I weigh 190 unsuited.

LOL, ya and the owner's been 8.67 at 165 with a 1.46 60 foot so there is 8.50's in the bike for sure. he went 5.62 In the 1/8th

Well done Fast08, I'm still chasing the 8. I just got the turbo working properly following a fuelling issue and ran a couple of 9.1's at the last meet, I cant wait till next year, 8.50 is the target.

I think if I had 4 or 5 more runs it would have happened on motor on pump gas. But I did not want to hog his bike all night and wanted the 8.
