Track was crappy just could not be aggressive off the line at all or I would spin. still managed a 9.432 at 151 with a 1.59 60ft went a 6.14 1/8th at 121.87! this is a stock motored 08 on 87 pump gas. but I was more impressed with my buddys 08. last year his best was 9.19 stock motor pump gas and he weighed 187, he also went 8.98 last year on a 40hp shot of nos at 158 mph. well he wanted to go faster this year but did not want to lose the reliabilty of a stock motor so he took some weight off the bike. he put some lighter wheels on that saved 7.8 lbs, installed a speed cell batter that took another 7 lbs off, installed a DME sub fram that lost anothe 7.5 lbs. removed his rear pegs and brackets for about 2 lbs and he got him self down to 169. well the track was really bad for a bike at 63 inch wheelbase so he was leaving very soft with a 1.52 60ft and ran a 8.97 at 156 5.79 1/8th at 126 no NOS on 87 pump gas. last year for his 9.19 he had a 1.45 60ft. when our track opens next weekend I expect him to go an 8.85 or right around there no NOS and somewhere in the 8.58 to 8.62 on the spray at around 165mph as that track will be preped much better. and he kep his realiabilty as he mad 23 passes yesterday and 15 of them where between 9.01 and 9.05 but he was spinning on every run.
