Just got back from the hospital seeing Sam. Overall he seems to be doing well. Was feeling nauseous & got sick while I was there. Told nurse his pain was at 15 (she gave him a scale of 1-10 I believe).......he likes his morphine drip. His wife says he dozed off still pushing it the one time!!

He was awake while I was there & carrying on a coherent conversation, though he'd doze off every once in awhile when he was "taking a hit"

He's supposed to be in there for another couple days.
