Going to buy a busa, what to look for???

Driving 350 miles to look at a 08 orange busa with 4500 miles, giving 8500$ for it, comes with full , hotbodies undertail, pc3 and filter, so question is, is there anything I should look for? Iv owned a 06 Gsxr 1000 up till last week for three years, but don't know if there something special to a busa

Look for signs of damage, neglect. Nothing unusual from the 1000. 4500 is cherry

check if recalls have done (rectifier, ignition switch, clutch bolts). other than these, Busas are almost bullet-proof platforms. Signs of abuse would be my main concern. So bike will be in back of truck/on trailer. Have a safe trip.

I am guessing you already have the VIN so ask a dealer to run it to verify if below have been done:

I'd say not having the recalls done would not be a show stopper, you can take care of it.

look for abuse and see if the maintenance records are up to snuff.
the Hayabusa is rock solid. your gonna love it.
