They're just thin metal caps, like snap fastner tops.

Use a chisel levering on a rag and pry them off carefully. They take hardly any force at all to pop off.

Press them back on with thumb pressure only.

I did it with a sheetrock knife i works real good.

Two I got off with my finger nails, the other two I used my knife but I marred them a little.

I used the small blade on my Victorinox, but nicked the edge of one of them. They're just chromed plastic.

How do I get the chromed allen head bolt covers off the top of the triple clamp without scratching up the triple clamp or the chromed covers?
