GenII vs. ZX14 (another reason for chosing)

My buddy didnt put enough oil in his gsxr1000 when he changed it and then went to race it and the bearing went on it and suzuki covered it.

Actually, Big Red is an owner of both.

They're both such awesome bikes. The riding experience is a little different on each. I think the busa has some nice little touches put into the design that the 14 lacks. I like the feel of the busa best for really high speed but the 14's motor has no problem keeping pace.

sorry, I don't believe it!

I had a ZZR1200 that I know would roll on my Busa from 0 to 40 and would keep up all the way to 125mph. Busa IMHO lacks bottom end due to the taller gears. I had no problems keeping up with Stock 1st Gen Busas. Did a 70mph roll on to 130 with a 08 Honda CBR 1000 and pulled a 1/2 bike lenth at 100 and at 130 we were dead even.

Every magazine I read states the Busa and ZX14 are dead even.

I love my Busa, but after buying one and riding it for the last 1,000 miles it does not feel all that faster than my ZZR1200 from 0 to 100, but after that yes the Busa pulls like a rape ape, but on the street who's pulling numbers over 100mph?

both bikes are excellent guys....(ok, i know that i am in a haya forum..but..)

I have owned both. the zx14 is more comfortable, the haya sportier, sexier and more popular than the kawa... something else, also important..the torque of the haya in low rpm is really massive

I installed a Way Better meter on my '08 Busa and it pointed WAY over to the right, so it's way way better.


Seriously, I love the REAL data posted by BLUR. How can you argue with test results?
