Gen II rear wheel on a Gen I

Will a Gen II rear wheel fit a Gen I without any modifications? What is required if there are mods to do? I already have a Gen II front wheel and would like to get a rear wheel to match.

Is your GenII front wheel already mounted ?
If so how did you get it on because from the thread I started I was told it involved too much modification ?

Yes it's already mounted. I replied to your thread too. "I put an 08 wheel on my 05 but I also changed the forks, lower triple clamp, fender and brakes." You need the 08 damper, axle and spacer too.
