Gen I busa with gen II engine

has anyone attempted to put a gen II engine on there gen 1 bike yet. If so what was involved, just found one at a good deal and i need a new engine. Is it possible to run the gen 2 engine with the gen 1 ecu, harness and throttle bodies.
