Gen 1 fuel tank bling?

I dropped a socket on my tank, its no big deal, I paint and this will be the third time I have painted it but I was wondering what custom stuff anyone has done with their gen 1 tanks. Anybody put a different one on or modify? It isnt a bad looking tank, just wondering what is out there. I am out of creativity.

KML has an aluminum tank on his gen1. They are rare, and he'd have to give you the details.
Several people have cut, fabbed, and welded the stock tank to different shapes.
The China/ebay plastic/fairings set come with plastic tank covers. The ones posted here and the couple I have seen in person look and fit good. They come with many different graphics and in many colors, and I've even seen chrome.
And, there's always plasti-dip.

I feel pretty stupid for not putting a plastic cover on my tank. Much easier to toss out a plastic cover and repaint a new one than bondo/primer a tank which I have done multiple times. Drop a socket on a plastic cover? Toss it, get another.
