I'm thinking about installing Galfer stainless steel brake lines on my baby. Is anybody already running these? If so, was the difference noticeable? Did you use one of those vacuum pumps to blleed the lines and do they work as advertised? Anybody with any info let me know. Thanks!!!

Yes, there is a slight diff between stock and these... Spend $5 on a bleeder bottle from Autozone, works like a champ.

I switched to the Galfer lines over the winter, I also went with Carbone Lorraine brake pads. Stopping is definitley better.
I bought the Mity-Vac and it's ok for draining the old fluid quickly and getting most of the new in, but I still had to put a final "old fashioned" bleed on it. The Mity Vac connection to the bleeder valve was not very good - and I tried every combination of the doo-hickeys that come with it....
Some folks have better luck with it, I guess
