fuel system 1397 1441

I'm going for a 1397 or 1441 build for my gen 1, will the stock fuel system (injectors and pump) work on my build?
Or need I bigger injectors and fuel pump, like an aem internal pump. If so do I need an external regulator with internal pump?

Not sure about Gen1

Gen2 for 1441 stock pump and injectors are fine

When on Dyno it will be plain to see if pump cannot supply enough fuel at the top end

Stock injectors cannot hold 1397 or 1441 on a gen1.
You have to crash the fuel pressure regulator for more pressure and a better fuel pump.

@bussagreek, honda s2000 are good enough? On schnitzracing I saw a AEM 320 high flow pump. Any experience?

Honda s2000 injectors are bigger with stock pressure but MUST use billet injectors rail.
I had bosch internal pump but i forgot the model.

No the original do the job with s2000 injectors.

If you dont replace with billet or bore the stock rail the 2 outer injector will spray more and the 2 inner will spray less...

My 1397 Gen 1 ran perfect on stock pump and injectors.
